The Forgotten Advertising Tip

I’m sure while you have seen many tips on advertising, many that talk about testing and tracking your ads, I’m sure that this one important tip is rarely mentioned: Running more than one ad at a time isn’t the greatest idea.

While it seems like a good idea to spend your monthly advertising budget all at once at the first of the month, is it really gaining you the best exposure? Even if you are running ads on various websites and networks, there is a pretty good chance many of those that see your ad on one site are going to see them on another.

Rather than having several ads running at the same time, try to space out your ads a bit and run only one at a time. Why? Well think of it this way. Say a visitor seeing your ad on one site and thinking “interesting, I may have to buy something later”. Later that same day if they are on another website I’m sure they’ll think, “there it is again, but I’ll buy later”.

Now think if you would have waited a week or two before advertising at that second site in which this visitor comes to daily, and then seeing it saying, “oh wow that site! I forgot I was going to buy there last week, so I’d better do it now”.

See the difference? Rather than one person seeing your site several times in one day or week and it still being the bad time, if you space your ads out you have a better chance of catching them when it IS a better time…or at least taking a closer look at your site and getting them subscribed to your newsletter or other free offers you have on your website.

Another reason it’s good to spread your advertising dollars as far as they will go is for constant exposure. If you are seen constantly in several places at all times, the easier you are going to be remembered. Not to mention like we said before, always be seen by someone who IS ready to buy.

Now of course, when you do choose to advertise on several sites at the same time, there is the chance you will reach more of your target audience. Plus if you have the funds to constantly advertise on several sites at once, go for it! Just remember to keep the ads going, so you have a constant flow of visitors.

How to Buy T-shirts at Wholesale Prices

There really is no great mystery with regards to buying t-shirts at wholesale prices. It is also worth bearing in mind that the companies manufacturing, importing, or stocking large numbers of t-shirts do actually want to sell them, it’s simply a matter of finding one that considers it worthwhile selling this merchandise at the volume you require.

Up and down the supply chain

You need to enter the supply chain at the right level: too high and they won’t supply you. This is not because they are unhelpful, but because it’s not worth their while to split open a box and sell single t-shirts, they sell boxes of them (they are actually in the “selling boxes of stuff” business). Too low and you will be paying a premium for t-shirts you could have got for less.

It is easier to go to the top of the supply chain and work your way down than it is to start at the bottom and work your way up. Here’s an example: you need some t-shirts for an event or a printing job, maybe 19, in the same style, same color, and different sizes. You go to the yellow pages and look for t-shirt suppliers, no luck; you find a t-shirt printer and give them a call. They don’t have the t-shirts in stock but can order them and have them to you by the end of the week. If this is your one-and-only ever t-shirt order, then this particular route is going to be straight forward - you pay a premium and get the t-shirts.

But if you expect to buy more t-shirts in the future you can look at it this way; they didn’t have them in stock and have made a special order, maybe they ordered extra to make up the numbers, maybe they didn’t. The chances are you could have ordered them yourself from the company that is supplying them. Now try asking them who their supplier is. If they are smart they will offer you an unbranded catalogue (from their supplier) with their own company name stamped on it and a price list. If they are really smart they will offer you a discount on any t-shirts you buy plus a special deal on printing.

They are unlikely to simply hand over the details of their wholesale supplier to you, and this doesn’t seem unreasonable. You are at best a customer that simply wants to save some money and at worst, an emerging competitor.

Wholesale t-shirts the easy way

This is how I found my supplier. It may not seem the most logical, but it was the most effective at finding a supplier at my level and I encountered virtually no resistance. You start at the top of the supply chain and work your way down.

When you think of big t-shirt names who do you think of… Fruit of the Loom, Hanes, Gildan, Anvil, Screen Stars?

I decided on Fruit of the Loom, and went to their website, looking for wholesale information — nothing there. Their site (not surprisingly) is retail focused, they sell most of their merchandise through retail outlets, with nothing printed on them. (But you’ve seen people wearing printed Fruit of the Loom t-shirts haven’t you, of course you have, so have I).

I searched in google and found a phone number for Fruit of the Loom (www.jfar.org) and phoned their office in the USA (I am based in the UK).

The people there were extremely helpful and gave me the UK number, which I phoned. I explained the kind of numbers I was looking for but they couldn’t help me because they only sold boxes (72 pieces in each box, one size, one color) and sold a minimum of 1,000 pieces (gulp!).

They gave me the number of someone they supplied, I called them. Now, they sold only single boxes, this was still more than I needed. They gave me the number of another company whom I called.

Now, this company sells single t-shirts, with volume discounts, has no minimum order and sent me an awesome catalogue with a huge range of ready to print apparel (not just t-shirts), from several different brands including Gildan.

I have ordered from this particular company several times and have been very happy with the price and the service.

With a small amount of research and a few phone calls you can find your ideal t-shirt wholesaler. It pays to start at the top and work your way down. Companies really have no reason to be unhelpful as they are forwarding your business on to someone they supply, and you get the quantities you want at a fair price.

Notes and Resources:

When you go to www.jfar.org, scroll to the bottom of the page to the link “Corporate Company List” here you can navigate to company details.

Gildan Activewear who don’t have a retail presence as far as I know, have a website that lists suppliers by country. This may be useful, again it is worth mentioning that the suppliers listed are likely to stock more than just the Gildan brand.

Product Review: Denim Hair Bows for Girls

If your little girl loves to dress up like mine does, then
she’ll love the cute bows and other clothes available at Little
Angels Boutique.

The package came all the way from Canada in great shape. It took
about a week to be mailed, but this is normal when coming from
Canada. If you want the best shipping prices from Canada to the
US, you’ll have to wait at least a week. Any shop that gives me
the best shipping prices is one I’ll be shopping at again!

My daughter absolutely loved her new hair bows, and wanted to
put them on just as soon as they were out of the box. Pink is
one of her favorite colors, so she was thrilled the bows match
just about all her clothes.

The set of 2 we received were blue jean bows with frayed edges.
A pink gingham fabric (100% cotton) is tied inside, to give the
effect of the blue jean being the “edges” of the bows.

The bows are the clip type, so it’s easier to add the bows after
her hair is put up in pony tails or pig tails. My daughter
doesn’t wear her hair in pig tails so much, so we have only used
one at a time so far. She has to wear her bow every time we go
out now, and she looks completely adorable!

Other hair bows are also available at Little Angels Boutique. In
addition you will find dresses, hats, jackets, jewelry, and
other clothing. Very cute items!

Your Massage Chair - You’ll Wonder How You Ever Lived Without It

“Aching wrists, stiff neck and shoulders that feel like if somebody folded them” This is the phrase mostly used by any employee after 8 hours of hard work. It is obvious, that after whole day work you will surely experience the symptoms of work related fatigue.

According to Palmer, founder of TouchPro Institute and co-developer of the first massage chair, most office-related mental and physical symptoms are mostly due to lack of blood and lymph circulation. Obstruction of lymph and blood flow is a result of sitting behind a desk all the day, which is not designed according to an individual’s body requirements.

These types of workloads result in the lack of work energy, susceptibility to stress injuries and mental fogginess.
A massage chair assists in maintaining better blood circulation that increases oxygen flow in blood and results in producing energy that keeps a person feel fresh all through out the day. Sitting in a massage chair relieves neck strain, provides a gentle break for your eyes and opens up the back muscles. Even a very small span of chair massage to arms, hands, neck and back can increase blood circulation, enhancing energy levels thus keeping the body safe from repetitive injuries like carpal tunnel syndrome.

According to Palmer “If you are using chair massage in a preventive manner, it will maintain your homeostatic balance, which precludes little problems from getting worse.” This has already been proved by millions of clients and message therapy specialists.

Chair Massage should not be considered as a treatment or therapy but as a simple relaxation technique. This type of step makes chair massage more approachable to people not looking for life changing treatment and personal growth.

The most important aspect is the price of the massage chair. Massage chairs are available in a variety of price ranges from $200(for beginning massage therapist) to $4500.

Chair massage is now available in airports and shopping malls as well as in many corporate workplaces all over US and increasingly in Britain. It is an accessible and popular form of bodywork bringing the advantages of massage to people who might not otherwise experience it.

Here are some advantages of massage chair used for chair massage:
1) A Massage chair increases the nutrition of tissues by an increased exchange of materials and fluids.
